And We Stood Alone in the Silent Night

An artists’ book by
Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison

This new artists’ book, And We Stood Alone in the Silent Night, was created for our recent exhibition at Imp But for the moon nobody could see us (August-September, 2008).

And We Stood Alone in the Silent Night features several of our collaborative works created especially for our part in Lines and Shapes, Volume 3, Gather.

Collaborative collages featured include:
In such a room no one could hear my sobs and it was for this reason alone that I stayed here for the duration of the summer.

Moscow's Bread Factory No.5 was the envy of all others for its form, efficiency and baked goods.

A varied formation of favoured things.

A fine balancing act went unnoticed.

Something mighty peculiar was afoot but I was hard-pressed to say for certain.

Collecting all I could to impress the right kind of people, or so I thought.
