Don’t get around much anymore.
A set of fifteen small cards contained in an envelope.
Louise Jennison, 2007.
A set of cards housed in an envelope with room enough for a Polar bear sporting yellow floatation rings around each thick leg, an extinct Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacine) imagining he still exisits, a Black bear with currency to buy back her habitat, a Crab-eater seal in from the Southern Ocean, a pair of Tasmainian Devils protecting the Long-footed potoroos with a snarl and determination, and a pod of Humpback whales attempting to repair the icesheet. You’ll find these creatures, amongst others, nestled safely withing the confines of an off-white envelope sealed with a sky blue circular seal.
Many animals in this paper caravan have been coloured with pencil, from the bristly hairs of the Northern Hairy-nosed wombat through to the two Polar bears with lights to mark out the safe parts of the ice.
Black and white lithographic offset print hand coloured with pencil on Aquarelle Arches 100% pure cotton hot pressed 300gsm paper.
Paper size 297 mm X 210 mm.
