Wooden field mouse

$35.00

A medium-sized wooden field mouse companion created for Secrets of the Photocopier (a recent exhibition at platform, Melbourne).

This little creature from the family muridae seeks a new home now that the exhibition has drawn to a close. She is a one of a kind piece, completely made by hand. Cut and shaped with the aid of a jigsaw and a piece of sandpaper, from MDF. Painted in white, front, sides and back, she is freestanding. Her coat, face and tail markings have been drawn on by hand with a beloved black felt tip pen.

Suitable for your shelf, to guard your books or mind your nightstand, this field mouse will happily fit in anywhere.

All animals come well wrapped to ensure they arrive safe and sound.

Field mouse proportions:
11 cm (H) X 29 cm (W) X 1.2 cm (D)

Field mouse particulars:
From Europe to the Urals and Armenia, the yellow-necked field mouse has large hindfeet to enable it to leap across great distances.

Catch a glimpse of her in her original habitat here.
