A wooden potoroo companion of medium build, created for Secrets of the Photocopier (a recent exhibition at platform, Melbourne).
This little creature from the family potoroidae seeks a new home now that the exhibition has drawn to a close. He is a one of a kind piece, completely made by hand. Cut and shaped with the aid of a jigsaw and a piece of sandpaper, from MDF. Painted in white, front, sides and back, he is freestanding. His markings have been drawn on by hand with a beloved black felt tip pen.
Suitable for your shelf, to guard your books or mind your nightstand, this marsupial love will be happy anywhere.
All animals come well wrapped to ensure they arrive safe and sound.
Potoroo proportions:
14 cm (H) X 29 cm (W) X 1.2 cm (D)
Potoroo particulars:
The potoroo bounds on its back feet and scrabbles for food using its strong-clawed short forelimbs. A nocturnal fungus-eating marsupial that can only be found in S.E. Australia.
Catch a glimpse of him in his original habitat here.
